Board of Directors

Pinnguaq Association, a not-for-profit organization, incorporates STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) into unique learning applications that promote storytelling, health, wellness, and growth with rural and remote communities. At its core, Pinnguaq embraces diversity and creates opportunities in order to empower all people.

We are seeking interested candidates for a role in a fast growing STEAM education organization who can bring their expertise to help guide and shape the organization across rural and remote communities in Canada. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience or expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Audience Experts (Rural and Remote Communities)

Almost all boards will need members who are knowledgeable about the nonprofits audience or population being served. This is especially true when working within rural and remote communities across Canada. Having connections to the communities we serve at a board level is paramount and will ensure the communities best interests and concerns are raised at the highest level.

Content Experts (Education and Tech)

As an education company having content experts in the form of experts in the field of curriculum development, educational development content and technology experts will be a strong benefit.

Stakeholder or Business Expert

As a growing non-profit having a business or stakeholder expert (eg. government) will help the development of the business both in not for profit and for profit worlds. Business experts will ensure the organization grows in the private sector while government experts will ensure strong and diverse growth in the public sector.
