Are you a small or medium-sized business, or perhaps a not-for-profit, looking for wage support to hire an intern for digital skills?

We can help with that!

Pinnguaq is proud to have been chosen as a delivery partner by the Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) to deliver the Digital Skills for Youth (DS4Y) program. DS4Y is a federal internship program that helps underemployed youth gain digital skills and meaningful work experience to help them reach their full potential in the new digital economy.

As a partner, Pinnguaq has supported over 150 different organizations and communities to create 380 internships. To date, we have facilitated over $6.5 million in direct wage and training support.

We continue to seek out small- and medium-sized businesses and non-profit organizations, who can receive over $18,000 to cover wages and up to $4,000 in training for each youth intern between the ages of 15-30.

To learn more about the program and how you can be part of DS4Y for 2022-2023, contact our team at ds4y@pinnguaq.com.
